BFB DRE 3179 is an anionic, aqueous, solvent free dispersion of a stabilized rosin ester. It is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives based on acrylic polymers or carboxylated SBR emulsions where it greatly enhances peel adhesion to polyethylene. It is covered under 21 CFR 175.105 & is in compliance with the requirements of the European Toy Safety Legislation 88/378/EEC, European Standard CEN EN 71, Part 3. All components of BFB DRE 5100 are listed in TSCA & EINECS. BFB DRE 3179 can be used as an alternative to Tacolyn 3179 HC.
