The plants are back up after the Lunar New Year holiday & the rosin plants are trying to push the price up.
With last year’s total production of Chinese gum rosin expected to have fallen to @ ~440K mts., & rosin imports into China last year up 96% (!) to 45K mts., (Indonesia 19K, Brazil 13K, Vietnam 9K, + others – including tall oil rosin), there will be strong headwinds against the likelihood of any meaningful sustainable increase.
